Life is good.  I'm here at my Hotel job right now.  Not much happening at all.  Bored really.  I have poison ivy right now too.  That sucks cause it is all over my body.  No hanky panky for a while.  Luckily that is not what marriage is all about, just the majority right.  I'm just kidding.  Anyways, I miss all you xanga people.

4 weeks til I say "I do".  Wow!  So much stuff to do still.  Getting an apartment, moving in, wedding parties, seeing old friends, and making new ones.  Got to love life.

Reading Practicing Greatness  some thoughts on the decision making chapter

Great leaders exercise good judgment.

"Good decision makers make sure they are working on answering the right questions."

I thought that this was really interesting he said about this subject. He said that most good leaders get stuck answering the wrong questions and wind up wasting precious time, money, exhausting resources and relationships.

For example:

wrong question: How dow we develop church members?
Tough question: How do we develop followers of Jesus?

wrong question: How do we develop leaders for church work?
Tough question: How do we develop leaders for the Christian movement?

Here is a question...What if what we call our instinct, is actually the Holy Spirit? It was something that I thought about when I was reading this chapter.
